1. General Provisions
These general terms and conditions govern the relationship between the lessor Lara Spremo s.p., Resslova ulica 4, 6330 Piran - Pirano, VAT ID: SI 62605011 (hereinafter: the lessor) and the boat renter (hereinafter: the renter).
By reserving the boat, the renter confirms that they are familiar with these general terms and conditions and accept them in full.
2. Rental Conditions
To operate the boat, the renter must meet the following conditions:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Valid boat skipper's license or international license (ICC)
- Valid personal identification (ID card or passport)
In case of rental with a skipper, a boat license is not required.
3. Reservation and Payment
The reservation is valid upon receipt of an advance payment of 30% of the total rental price. The remaining rental fee must be paid no later than upon boat pick-up.
Payment is possible by bank transfer or cash upon pick-up.
4. Security Deposit
Upon boat pick-up, the renter must pay a security deposit of 500 €. The deposit can be paid in cash or by credit card pre-authorization.
The security deposit is fully refunded upon the return of the boat in undamaged condition. In case of damages, repair costs will be covered by the deposit.
5. Boat Pick-up and Return
The boat is picked up and returned at Portorož marina. The renter receives the boat with a full fuel tank and must return it in the same condition.
Upon pick-up, a joint inspection of the boat is conducted, and the condition of the boat and its equipment is recorded.
6. Renter's Obligations
The renter undertakes to:
- Use the boat exclusively for tourism purposes
- Comply with all applicable navigation rules
- Not exceed the maximum allowed number of passengers (7 persons)
- Not sublet the boat to third parties
- Immediately inform the lessor of any damage or malfunction
- Not operate the boat under the influence of alcohol or other substances
7. Cancellation of Rental
In case of rental cancellation by the renter, the following conditions apply:
- More than 30 days before the start of the rental: 100% refund of the advance payment
- 15–30 days before the start of the rental: 50% refund of the advance payment
- Less than 15 days before the start of the rental: the advance payment is non-refundable
In case of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances, the rental can be rescheduled to another date by agreement.
8. Liability
The lessor is not responsible for the personal belongings of the renter or passengers. The renter is fully liable for damages caused by the violation of these conditions or applicable legislation.
9. Final Provisions
For all disputes arising in connection with these general terms and conditions, the competent court is in Koper. The regulations of the Republic of Slovenia apply.
These general terms and conditions are valid from June 1, 2026.
